Roulette Systems vs. Betting Strategy

There are lots of roulette systems that claim to be "sure fire" systems. These roulette systems even claim and promise that players who adopt them would make consistent gains. They even claim to make you rich and beat the game every time, if not most of the time.

When reality does bite, these "sure fire" roulette systems don't measure up to their claims. The huge problem behind these huge claims is that these roulette systems are mathematically based. If roulette systems are thus based, then you have a problem with a certain reality of a roulette game -- and that it is a pure game of chance.

Each spin is completely random. Let's say that the red comes up twice in a row. The odds of that ever happening again would still be up to 50/50 even if the roulette wheel spins a hundred times.

One failure of these roulette systems is that they assume that spins of the roulette wheel are related. These roulette systems try to locate a trend in the spins.

If you really want to win roulette then use a betting strategy rather than finding roulette systems that promise you loads of stuff that it can't deliver. A betting strategy works with the randomness of the game and places as much of the odds in your favor. Roulette systems just can't promise you that.

The first step in our betting strategy would be to choose the wheel that would present us with better odds of winning. And the answer is to go to a European roulette wheel. The house advantage for an American wheel is 5.26% while the European wheel's is 2.7%. Roulette systems can say this, but they don't really work on it.

Next part of our betting strategy is to avoid single number bets, the odds of winning versus their payouts isn't really worth it. Another bet we may have to avoid is the five-number bet; it has the worst odds.

You should make the bets that pay at odds of 1:1. The odds are 45%, pretty low risk. Examples of these bets are the Even, Odd, and Low bets.

A betting strategy beats the game more than using mathematically based roulette systems. By placing bets that put as much of the odds in your favor as possible you'll get better results at a game of roulette. Roulette systems can promise the same thing for you but in reality they don't deliver.
